I don't often give the dogs a rawhide but had some Dingos put away. Samantha adores them so I gave her one intending to take it away about halfway...
apparently she was so delighted to have one after so long she demolished it! I give her 2 extra units of insulin in the morning to cover morning treats
already... does anyone know how badly a rawhide (medium size) would affect blood sugar? These have a bit of "meat" in the middle. One of the other
dogs may have helped eat some of it. Should I just watch her sugars today?
