One gal suggested consulting with Susan Davis ( pet nutritionist) for a recommendation ofr specific recipe for this little one. The first link will give the number, the second tells about Susan.

Also with the crystals I suggest the owner get the strips from Hocks to monitor the Ph. I got them for Missy to monitor her urine for blood and infection but now use them for Naddie since she may well have Bichon in her and Bichons are proned to forming stones ( and they tend to form the ones that are not subject to 'break-up" by diet but need surgical removal ( the oxalate not so much the struvite) so I want to keep an eye on maintaining good Ph. These strips test 10 things including the Ph ( I've yet to find just the ph strips )
