I have not had flea problems for many years now. I use a garlic powder/brewers yeast powder mix in their two daily meals. I just put a couple sprinkles in their food. I have been doing this for many years and have not had fleas in those many years. I buy garlic powder and brewer's yeast at my local natural food store, mix it, and put it in a jar with a sprinkle head. I sprinkle it on my cats' dry food also. I've been cautioned about giving garlic to dogs/cats, but what I give them is such a small amount and, as I said, I've been doing it for many years and my cats and dogs are all in excellent health, considering their ages. When I first told my vet, he laughed at me, not unkindly, but with much doubt, but when I keep telling him we've had no fleas for these many years, he's now beginning to believe that maybe those "old wives tales" had some truth to them.
