Andy was fine and acting normal all day yesterday. He had his dinner and normal insulin and we all went to bed as usual.

About midnight, he started having trouble breathing and threw up. I checked his BG and it was around 300 so running high not low. We took him to ER where they ran x-rays, gave sub-q fluids, a shot of antibiotic and something for nausea.

A little update on haylee's glucose, She had been up and down lately 160-380. But anyway i was just wondering if anyone uses the alpha trac glucose meter, and how it works? They say that it is better,than a human meter! But they are expensive about 90.00 -100.00 on the one site i found! I have a 1800 number to call to get more info! and more prices!
