			<description><![CDATA[ Sorry, I have been off the boards for awhile...got married in October, so we have been pretty busy.  I am needing some advice for my baby.  He is in the early
stages of kidney failure and he has been diabetic for 5 years.  Does anyone have any suggestions on food he might eat.  We were able to get him to eat boiled

			<title><![CDATA[ Prayers for Andy - spent last night in ER ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Not sure what is wrong. Andy was fine and acting normal all day yesterday. He had his dinner and normal insulin and we all went to bed as usual.</p>

<p>About midnight, he started having trouble breathing and threw up. I checked his BG and it was around 300 so running high not low. We took him to ER where
they ran x-rays, gave sub-q fluids, a shot of antibiotic and something for nausea.</p>

<p>I have been up all night, he is no better this morning. He is refusing food and still seems to... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ Louie is nearing the end of his journey ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Here on earth anyway.  He had done so well after the radiation therapy for over 7 months--far longer than we had hoped for.  He might have continued to do
well, but last Friday he was slightly favoring the left back leg, the one with the bone cancer, and every day it has gotten progressively worse.  Based on the
way he is hobbling around now and the positioning of his leg, I feel almost certain he has a pathological fracture related to the tumor, which is something we
knew might eventually... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ You&#39;ll laugh at this. I have friends that moved to Israel. They have the little girls that used to play with the dogs. One of them is destine to be a Vet.
In Israel they have a big problem with feral cats. The religious people do not believe that animals should be spay or neutered.  So there is thousands and
thousands of feral cats.

Anyway, the little girl found a week old kitten abandoned by it&#39;s mother.With her own money took it to a vet. She found a English speaking vet.... ]]></description>

  Well I took Sailor yesterday for his blood work and his liver enzyme went from 536 to 175 <img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif" alt="image">  but his blood sugar 325 which I think was from the rice in the chicken and
rice I was feeding him ...so she said to stop the rice and I went to a canned food and he is eating really good ....I just shudder to think how close I came to

that can take his BGs..plus understand the whole diabetic routine...and am seriously considering taking him.

 I know about all the specifications for the airline,carrier measurements, price, etc.....But my concern is how this will affect the diabetic dog. Simon is
